Getting Married on one of our Greek/ Italian Islands or the wonderful winter setting of Lapland

Weddings In Greece, Italy & Lapland

Many Weddings are held on the Greek or Italian Islands, the most popular are Zante (Zakynthos) Crete and Samos. Sicily & Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Lapland offers the winter weddings an amazing experience under the Northern Lights in Sky lined cabins

Do you arrange weddings in other parts of Greece? or other Destinations.

Yes, for the moment we arrange weddings on the Greek Islands of Zakynthos, Crete, Samos and Kefalonia and other Italian destinations such as the Amalfi Coast, Sicily but to name a few, and Lapland in its exqusite ranch under the Northern Lights.   please enquire for more details.

Can we get married on the same day as our arrival on the Greek & Italian Islands or Lapland?

We only provide this service for couples that arrive on the Greek island via a cruise boat. Although not advisable. Otherwise, we recommend our couples to be in destination at least two days prior to the wedding date.

Can I rent a wedding dress in resort?

Yes you can, but unfortunately, the market in resort is very limited and we do not liaise with anyone on the location that provides this service, as there simply isn't enough time.   We always advise our couples to bring their own wedding attire.

How long do we have to be in the location prior to the wedding?

We recommend to our couples to be in location at least two days prior to the wedding as we like to have a pre-wedding meeting to discuss all the wedding details. Also, it is also necessary for a civil wedding to have couples in location one working day after the wedding so we can arrange the final signature and any documentation that is necessary.

Do you organise vow renewals in Destination?

Yes, please contact us for further information and we will be more than happy to help! We would like to let you know that for a vow renewal, no documents are needed so the process is easier, we just need a copy of your passports. The ceremony is the same as the civil ceremony, but you will not receive an official marriage certificate.

How do we obtain a marriage certificate?

After the ceremony, we will arrange a meeting at the Town Hall so we can proceed with the final signatures. The procedure of getting your marriage certificate with the Apostille Stamp usually takes 3-4 weeks. As soon as we receive it back from the Town Hall, we will send it to you by post.

What is the best time to perform the wedding ceremony in Location?

Usually, we advise our couples to book their wedding one hour before the sunset, so they will enjoy a beautiful sunset photo shooting after the ceremony. Sometimes, this will depend on the availability of the venue and the available time slots of the registrar. Moreover, we also recommend our couples not to have the ceremony in the middle of the day as the weather in Greece/Italy during June, July and August can be extremely hot.

Our Lapland Weddings are different and due to the snow and climate we advise that as long as appropriate clothing attire is worn any time of the day is acceptable but due to the Aurora Borealis lights and Northern Lights, it may be better in the late afternoon through to the evening celebrations to take the stunning sights in.

We don't have two witnesses for the ceremony.

We will be more than happy to be your witnesses on the day, so don't worry!

When do we receive our photos?

This is based on the delivery policy of your chosen photographer. We have some photographers who provide you with them before you leave for an extra cost.

Where can we have our wedding reception in Lapland?

Lapland has unique wedding reception venue enclosed on our private Ranch with its own fine dining restaurant, of course we have many other venues to choose from, so depending on the number of guests we will propose several venues for you to choose from.

What religious weddings do you arrange?

Yes, we arrange a variety of style of weddings (Please contact us for the necessary details).

Is our civil marriage legal worldwide?

Yes, the marriage certificate is a legal document issued by the relevant Government on location and accepted internationally. You will use the certificate to register your marriage back home when you have received it.

What is the cancellation policy if we cancel the reservation, will we get our money back?
